Teaching Philosophy

office-614273_1920“The learner is the most important person in the education process, not the teacher” (Kitchie, 2008, p. 95).

My teaching philosophy is always adapting to new students, new environments, new subjects and new (and old) instructional technologies. I strongly feel that to teach well, educators need to be open to challenging assumptions about learning and learners, which means I am constantly in the processes of learning. My approach to education is learner-centered, feedback focused and invested in providing students with the space and tools for learning in the long term.
